About this event

The menopause is the latest aspect of female biology to get its moment in the spotlight. Whereas ‘the change’ was once whispered about behind closed doors, it is now widely acknowledged in society and the workplace.

The menopausal transition affects each woman uniquely and in various ways, which makes it imperative to address the stigma usually associated with the menopause and spread accurate knowledge and awareness on the subject.

Join Reed speakers Mia Law, Regional Trainer - Health & Care and Helen Clark, Divisional Director - Health & Care, as they explore the myths and taboos surrounding menopause, and how you can recognise the symptoms in yourself and others.

During this webinar, Mia and Helen will look specifically at what the menopause is, the symptoms that may be experienced, treatment options and how to support yourself and others during the menopausal years.

This webinar offers a prime opportunity to learn, reflect and dispel some of the myths and taboos that exist around the menopause.

More about Mia Law, Regional Trainer - Health & Care, Reed

Mia is a Health & Care Trainer at Reed, and she creates and delivers bespoke training to internal and external clients across the sector. Mia has worked in health and social care for 22 years in a variety of roles and cares passionately about professional training.

Mia recently created a course on the menopause as she felt isolated when she started her menopause journey and didn't want others to feel the same way. Throughout the webinar, Mia wants to remove the stigma around menopause and believes that spreading knowledge is the best way to do that.
