Employees are increasingly using AI to address their workplace concerns, such as when drafting grievance submissions, challenging performance discussions, or responding to internal company policies and processes.

While AI can help employees articulate their views and access information more easily, it also presents new challenges for HR teams and business leaders when assessing authenticity, managing expectations, and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.

As AI becomes more embedded in workplace processes, organisations must ensure its use is supported by clear policies, robust governance, and effective risk management.

Join Reed and Matt McDonald, Partner at Shakespeare Martineau, for an engaging discussion on the growing impact of AI within employee relations.

What to expect:

This session will explore a range of key topics, including:

  • Employment law risks associated with the use of AI in decision-making and people management.

  • Data protection, privacy, and compliance considerations in an AI-enabled workplace.

  • The increasing use of AI by employees and how organisations can respond effectively and responsibly.

  • Key lessons from emerging workplace disputes, grievances, and investigations involving AI.

  • Practical steps to establish robust governance frameworks, policies and safeguards for AI use.

Whether your organisation is actively deploying AI tools or beginning to explore their potential, this session will provide valuable guidance on managing risk while harnessing the benefits of AI.
