We will be joined by Gavin Moorghen, Regional Engagement Lead for Social Work England. Gavin has practised in both adult and children’s social work in a number of areas including substance misuse, pre-birth work, disasters and court work, and has worked on a number of initiatives to improve social work nationally.
He is committed to improving standards in social work, having done so in practice, developmental and senior roles for local and national social work organisations. A keen advocate of the social work profession, Gavin has regularly spoken on behalf of the social work profession at national events, on podcasts and in the national media.
