Caring for our planet
At Reed, we recognise the importance of protecting the natural environment. This is why we have planted thousands of trees, donated millions to environmental causes through the Reed Foundation, encouraged co-members to reduce their carbon footprint, and committed to become climate positive by 2050.
What we do...
In 2025, the Reed Foundation pledged £1m to the Green Match Fund and sponsored the launch of Earth Raise, the UK’s largest environmental fundraiser. If you are interested in supporting or sponsoring Earth Raise Live 2026, click here.
We also launched the #ReedIsGreen initiative across the Reed Group to raise awareness of key environmental causes and to support Big Give’s Green Match Fund. Co-members were encouraged to get behind the cause by wearing green, posting to social media, and donating to environmental charities.
What we do...
Reed Environment, launched in 2023, has partnered with Oxford Energy Academies (OEA) to upskill and reskill thousands of tradespeople in key renewable energy technologies, including air source heat pumps and solar panels. Last year, we helped over 1,500 people improve their green skills.
What we do...
In 2022, we planted 70,000 trees in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. We also installed beehives containing 20,000 bees onto the roof of our Covent Garden office, demonstrating Reed’s commitment to improving biodiversity.
