Julie Temple, Partner, Birkett Long Solicitors
Julie provides expert advice on a broad range of employment topics including holiday pay and the implementation of GDPR, as well as complex claims for unfair dismissal and discrimination.
As Head of Birkett Long Human Resources (BLHR) and Employment Team, Julie is responsible for supporting and developing the team and driving marketing initiatives to better understand the challenges that businesses face. She also advises individual clients on a range of matters, from settlement agreements and contracts of employment to breach of restrictive covenants and tribunal claims.
Karen Morovic, Senior Employment Law Associate, Birkett Long Solicitors
Karen joined Birkett Long in March 2023 as a senior associate solicitor in the BLHR and employment team. She advises clients on all aspects of employment law and supports the BL human resources and employment team.
She acts for employers and employees in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, such as drafting employment contracts, policy documentation and staff handbooks, as well as handling employment tribunal and employment appeal tribunal cases. She is also experienced in settlement negotiations and resolving disputes, and often provides training to clients on best practice in employment law for their business.
