Julie Temple, Employment Solicitor and Partner, Knights

Julie advises commercial clients on a wide range of employment and HR matters, including holiday pay, GDPR, restrictive covenants, senior management exits, and complex unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. Known for her clear, tailored advice and practical approach, she is trusted by businesses across sectors, including education, to resolve sensitive workplace issues.

Julie is an affiliate member and Vice-Chair of her local CIPD branch, a trustee of the Ron Shepherd Trust supporting CIPD students, and a governor at St Margaret’s Church of England Primary School. Julie is also a qualified mental health first aider, reflecting her commitment to wellbeing in the workplace.

Karen Morovic, Employment Solicitor and Partner, Knights

Karen has over two decades of experience advising on employment and business immigration law, working with both employers and employees to deliver strategic, commercially focused advice.

She advises on a wide range of workplace matters, from complex discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal claims to executive terminations, TUPE-related disputes, and post-termination restrictions. Karen also supports UK businesses with sponsor licence applications and employee work visa processes.

Known for her collaborative and pragmatic approach, Karen works closely with clients to define clear objectives and guide them confidently through challenging issues. She regularly delivers training and webinars on employment law topics and contributes to legal blogs and commentary.

In 2024, Karen was recognised by the Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales for her commitment to pro bono work in the inaugural Pro Bono Recognition List.
