Watch the webinar

In this webinar, we were joined by Reed Chairman James Reed and three other members of Reed’s senior leadership team to discuss how you can attract the best professionals in 2022 – especially when the number of people looking for work is low.

The latest ONS data reveals that the number of job vacancies between August and October rose to a new record of 1,172,000, an increase of 388,000 from the pre-coronavirus pandemic January to March 2020 figure, with 15 of 18 industry sectors showing record highs.

There is a battle for talent, and it is an exciting time for professionals looking for a new opportunity. But with businesses struggling to attract the best people because of a low quantity of applicants, they need to ensure their salary and benefits packages are desirable enough to beat the competition.

At the beginning of January, Reed released its annual salary guides – based on data from 6.6 million jobs posted on Reed.co.uk over the last three years to bring companies the most reliable salary data available.

Our panel featured:

  • James Reed, Chairman and CEO, Reed

  • Chris Adcock, Managing Director, Reed Technology

  • Claire Harvey, Managing Director, UK Network, Reed

  • Lucie Daluiso, Divisional Managing Director, Further Education, Reed

The panellists discussed salaries, benefits, and the state of the market in their specialist areas.

If you are responsible for recruitment in your company or want to know how to attract the best talent to your team, watch the recording of this event for advice in abundance.

Our salary guides and this webinar were designed to help you to stand out from the crowd in 2022 as an employer of choice.
