Is your workplace truly supporting mental health – or just ticking boxes?

Proactive support can help identify and address mental health issues before they escalate, which is essential in minimising burnout. In our survey of 2,000 UK workers with OnePoll, we found that 85% of UK workers have experienced symptoms of burnout and exhaustion from their job.

Join us in Southend-on-Sea for a free, in-person event exploring how to implement or update workplace policies that support mental health in meaningful and sustainable ways – with expert insights from Dr David Sollis, the Chief Executive of South East and Central Essex Mind, a leading voice in community mental health.

What to expect

Dr Sollis will share his expertise on:

  • The importance of mental health in the workplace and the current landscape

  • How to develop or revise policies that reflect best practices and legal responsibilities

  • Practical strategies for supporting employees experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions

  • How to create a culture of openness and support that benefits both staff and business outcomes

There will also be time for Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions specific to your organisation’s needs.

Why attend?

  • Gain practical insights into building or refining your mental health policies

  • Understand your responsibilities as an employer under current legislation

  • Learn how to foster a workplace culture that prioritises wellbeing

  • Connect with others in your local business community
