Adam Noot plays a key role in supporting local authorities to deliver essential packages of speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and other specialist services for children and young people with education, health and care plans (EHCPs).
His work goes beyond traditional recruitment; Adam regularly collaborates with parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to ensure the right support is in place.
He began his career at Reed in June 2022, straight after graduating from university. And, quickly progressed to lead the SEND casework recruitment team before taking a career break to travel and gain experience in internal recruitment for an NHS Trust. This blend of experience has given him a unique perspective on public sector recruitment, enabling him to understand client challenges and deliver tailored solutions now that he has returned to Reed.
With national scrutiny on SEND provision, Adam is passionate about making a positive impact. He takes pride in helping local authorities meet their statutory obligations while ensuring children and families receive the assessments and support they need. Building strong, long-term relationships with caseworkers and problem-solving to meet service needs are aspects of his role that he finds most rewarding.
