In 2024, Educational Psychologist, Dr Esther Borrett, spoke on the Reed webinar about the resilience building project RESTA - an organisational approach to building resilience in students using the latest research from relational and trauma aware practice and underpinned by psychological theory.

Dr Esther Borrett, Director - Educational Psychologist, Brimstone Psychology
Esther worked as a teacher of psychology in colleges and sixth forms for 13 years before training to become an educational psychologist. She worked a Specialist Educational Psychologist in Youth Justice before setting up Brimstone Psychology.
Esther has extensive experience and knowledge of post-16, she is a published author in adversity and educational resilience and is passionate about positive psychology, young people’s voices, and increasing participation in research.
Esther is enthusiastic about empowering others to support young people and fully embraces the value of ‘giving psychology away'. She loves working creatively with organisations to activate their strengths and find innovative ways to support young people.
