Are your current software development plans focused on learning, innovation and productivity?
As technology advances, especially in the software development space, it’s important for developers and dev leaders to consider ways to measure sustainable developer productivity that, by extension, also scales well.
Join Reed Technology and our guest speakers Rich Endersby-Marsh, Software Team Lead at Waterstons, and John Hartwell, Development Director at Causeway, as we explore how optimal delivery and sustainable technology can aid productivity.
In session one, Rich will be discussing optimal delivery versus short intense bursts and how to measure sustainable developer productivity. He will also identify the right questions to ask if teams are failing to deliver, focusing on problems around process rather than people to ensure departments can thrive.
Session two will see John explore how his team of software engineers are embracing Microsoft Fabric to track and reduce carbon emissions in the construction industry. John will demonstrate Causeway’s industry-leading product to show how technology can aid sustainability.
During this free face-to-face meetup at Causeway Technologies Limited in Middlesbrough, our speakers will be using their industry expertise to guide and inform.
As a Tech on the Tees event, in partnership with Causeway, this meetup has been designed to familiarise you with the latest trends, providing a chance to learn and share ideas with thought leaders in your area.

About Tech on the Tees
Tech on the Tees is a free software development event run by Reed Technology for those looking to get ‘hands-on’ with the latest technologies in the Teesside region.
The introduction to the new tech is provided by the best developers in the area. Remaining language agnostic, so you can interact with the tech however you develop, we offer a fair and open opportunity for those of all skill sets to experience something new, brush up on skills, or even learn a new approach from fellow learners.
This isn't designed to be a super serious, heads down event. The flow is loose, and collaboration is encouraged. As long as you feel you've gained new knowledge, we're happy.
