As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, so too does the way data is used. Since the turn of the century, Tableau, a visual analytics platform, has been used to empower people and organisations to make the most of enriched data.

Do you know how to use it?

Come along to Reed’s Tech on the Tyne meetup and hear from Andy Kriebel, Founder and Director at Next-Level Tableau, on how to build a dynamic Tableau dashboard from scratch in just 30 minutes.

During this free face-to-face meetup at One Strawberry Lane in Newcastle, Andy, one of the world’s leading Tableau coaches and a member of the Tableau Visionary Hall of Fame, will be using specialist tools and skills to show the potential that a Tableau dashboard can bring to your stack.

Attendees will create a plethora of insightful charts, customise them to fit certain styles, place the charts on the dashboard using layout containers, and finish up by adding interactivity to the dashboard to make for an even greater user experience.

As a Tech on the Tyne event, this meetup has been designed to familiarise you with the latest tech, providing a hands on experience.

This event is being held in association with One Strawberry Lane and Dynamo North East.

More about Tech on the Tyne:

Tech on the Tyne is a free software development meetup run by Reed’s technology division for those who are looking to get hands on with the latest technologies.

The events are based on a kata format – a structured learning routine – and in attending, you’ll discover exciting technologies to get your teeth into. All you need to do is bring your laptop.

The introduction to new tech is provided by the some of the best developers in the area. Each event is language agnostic, so you can interact with the tech however you develop, we offer a fair and open opportunity for those of all skill sets to experience something new, brush up your knowledge, or even discover a new approach from fellow learners.

This isn't designed to be a super serious, heads down event. The flow is loose, and collaboration is encouraged. Refreshments are provided.
