Decided office life isn’t really for you? Don’t panic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated many businesses’ moves to flexible working – with remote working consequently more acceptable now than ever before.

But how do you know whether working from home full-time is the right choice for you? And how do you find the best work from home positions?

Luckily, we have a filter to help you do exactly that:

Work from home jobs are at their highest levels

The pandemic has unquestionably had an unprecedented effect on the UK jobs market. But not all of these changes have been detrimental.

In fact, although often seen as a perk in the past, working from home has become much more acceptable in the current climate – with many employees (especially those in office-based roles) told not  to go into the office throughout the various lockdown periods.

As a result, we’ve seen adverts for working from home jobs rise by 482% compared to the same period last year*. So if a permanent working from home position is something you’d be interested, now could be the perfect time to take the plunge.

How to find work from home jobs

We’ve made it as simple as possible to find work from home positions with different ways to search:

Firstly, you can start by performing a regular job search by inputting your desired job title or sector in the reed.co.uk job search box. You can also choose to add in your address (although this isn’t a necessity).

Once you have your list of search results, simply check the ‘work from home’ filter box. This is located on the left-hand side of the page for those using a desktop, and at the top of the screen (within the filter drop down) for anyone searching from a mobile device.

Alternatively, you could click the ‘work from home jobs’ link within the trending jobs section on our homepage, or simply visit the work from home jobs page directly to start your search.

All of the jobs within our work from home page will either have been tagged specifically as a work from home position, or have ‘work from home’ or ‘remote working’ written within their job description.
