Job Title: HR & Recruitment Administrator (Onboarding)
Location: Coventry (CV1) – Hybrid working (1 day per week in the office)
Job Type: Temporary (Approx. 6 months – potential to extend or reduce)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £14.66 per hour (some flexibility depending on experience)
Overview:
Reed’s client is seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Administrator to support a high-volume onboarding programme. Due to a significant influx of new starters, this is a fast-paced and hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and compliant recruitment and onboarding process.
This role will suit someone who is confident managing end-to-end recruitment administration and thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing job advertisements and coordinating recruitment activity
- Arranging interviews and communicating with candidates
- Issuing offer letters and contracts
- Processing references and DBS checks
- Supporting onboarding and new starter administration
- Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business
- Ensuring all processes meet strict compliance and regulatory standards
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar HR and recruitment administrative role
- Confident managing high volumes of work with accuracy and pace
- Experience within a highly regulated or compliance-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around background checks and onboarding processes
- A proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision

Additional Information:
- Hybrid working available; typically 1 day per week in the office
- Candidates should ideally be based near Coventry, but those further afield will be considered if happy to travel when required
- Office attendance frequency may vary depending on business needs

- Final Microsoft Teams interview with the client
