Our client is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join their successful and growing team in Poole. This office-based role offers the opportunity to manage and develop existing customer accounts while supporting wider business growth within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Proactively contacting customers to identify sales opportunities and generate revenue
• Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
• Preparing quotations and following up opportunities to maximise conversions
• Arranging appointments for Business Development Managers
• Maintaining accurate customer records and activity within the CRM system
• Conducting account reviews and identifying opportunities to increase account value
• Promoting products and services to existing customers
• Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and delivery

About You

• Previous experience in Account Management, Internal Sales, Customer Success or Business Development
• B2B and/or B2C sales experience
• Confident communicating and selling over the phone
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities
• Experience using CRM systems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven
