Job Title: Customer Relationship Manager / Account Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £32,500 per year
Location: Middlewich
Working Hours: 8.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, Office based

My client is looking for a Key Account Manager to support a busy Client Services function within the commercial grounds maintenance sector. This role will suit someone confident managing client relationships, coordinating internal teams, handling service queries, and supporting reporting across grounds maintenance, winter services, landscaping, and arboriculture contracts.

Key Duties

• Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of key clients.
• Ensure services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and within agreed timescales.
• Act as the main communication link between clients and internal operational teams.
• Handle client queries, resolve issues, and manage complaints in a professional manner.
• Provide financial information and reports to support the finance function.
• Obtain supplier quotations, raise purchase orders, and prepare client quotations.
• Manage contract information and update records on the internal SiteOps system.
• Analyse data and prepare internal and external reports.
• Support compliance with Health and Safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
• Act as a key holder, fire warden, and first aider where required.

Requirements

• Experience in sales, account management, or providing customer-focused solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Confident problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Previous account management experience is preferred.
