We are excited to support our client with a temporary to permanent Receptionist in one of their new sites in SW15. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in a similar educational setting, particularly with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, as the school caters to secondary boys and girls.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage the front desk and handle all incoming queries.
Perform administrative duties including managing records, scheduling appointments, and maintaining student files.
Act as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Support the school management with daily operations and communications.
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care.
Adapt to a dynamic educational environment and provide support where needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a reception or administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
Strong understanding of the needs associated with SEMH.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Robust and resilient character, capable of managing challenges in a school environment.
Enhanced DBS check for both children and adults.
Proficiency in using office management software.
