An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional and welcoming Receptionist/Administrator to join a fantastic team in Crawley. This role is crucial for providing front of house service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the workplace. As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will act as an ambassador for the organisation, offering a friendly and inclusive reception to all visitors and colleagues.
Day-to-Day duties of the Role:
Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, contractors and colleagues, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
Manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, including issuing, logging passes and keys.
Maintain the reception area and shared front of house spaces tidy, well-presented and compliant with health and safety standards.
Provide central support for day-to-day workplace and office needs, coordinating with the Workplace/Facilities team.
Handle coordination of workplace gym access, scheduling, and maintaining records.
Offer flexible administrative support across Workplace and Facilities, addressing operational needs.
Manage daily visitor and accessible car parking, ensuring efficient use of space.
Maintain accurate reception and office logs and carry out daily handovers with the job share partner and security team to ensure service continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a reception, front of house, or office support role within a professional environment.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to act as a professional and welcoming ambassador.
Ability to manage day-to-day operational tasks effectively.
Comfortable handling security-sensitive processes such as access passes and visitor management.
Proactive and practical approach, with good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
Proficiency in standard office systems and technology (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a job share arrangement.
Reliability and flexibility to provide cover during absences.
