REED/LTA are seeking a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years provision at a vibrant primary school in Southport. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the development of young children and is looking for an opportunity to become a long-term member of our team.
The role is full-time Monday to Friday and starts asap.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the daily activities within the nursery setting.
- Support the development and learning of young children through play-based activities.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a safe and stimulating environment.
- Help with the preparation of materials and equipment.
- Occasionally support in the Breakfast Club and After School Club if interested in additional hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and childcare.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to the role with a view to becoming a permanent staff member.
