REED/LTA are seeking a Year 4 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Southport. This role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to making a positive impact on children’s educational journey and is interested in long-term career opportunities within our school
The role will be full-time Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 3:30pm and has the potential to go permanent for the right person.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide support in Year 4 classrooms, assisting with the delivery of lessons and educational activities.
- Spend afternoons supporting Reception, helping with various educational tasks and child supervision.
- Engage with children to facilitate learning and development.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organization.
- Participate in additional school activities, including Breakfast Club and After School Club if desired.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the educational needs of children.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Enthusiastic about long-term commitment and growth within the school.
