We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our academic team at a reputable institution in Southwest London. This full-time position involves teaching students from Level 1 to Level 3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with a passion for educating and developing future professionals in this vital sector.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions across Levels 1 to 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, to ensure they meet the latest educational standards and industry requirements.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through coursework, practical assessments, and exams.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall progress.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their educational and career goals.
  • Stay updated with current trends and developments in the health and social care sector to enhance the learning experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a lecturer or teacher in Health and Social Care, with familiarity teaching Levels 1 to 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods for Health and Social Care education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students.
