Maths GCSE Tutor

We are currently seeking an experienced Maths GCSE Tutor to join our team at a local college. This role involves teaching Maths to students aged 14-19 within a further education setting, with a focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to GCSE students aged 14-19.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their academic performance.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEND specialists to enhance learning outcomes for all students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience teaching Maths GCSE.
- Strong understanding of the needs of students with SEND.
- Ability to create and adapt educational materials to suit diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
