Livesmart Manager

  • Location: Dorking
  • Job Type: Temporary Contract until November 2026 (Subject to extension)
  • Shifts: 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
  • Pay Rate: £13.78 per hour PAYE

We are seeking a dedicated Livesmart Manager to ensure the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our property. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards in communal areas and facilities, providing a welcoming and secure environment for residents, contractors, and visitors.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as a key-holder, ensuring the security of communal areas and facilities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for building access for residents, contractors, and visitors.
  • Coordinate with contractors for repairs, maintenance, and servicing of communal areas and equipment.
  • Manage access for utility companies for essential maintenance and servicing.
  • Oversee the laundry facilities and ensure cleanliness and functionality of all communal areas.
  • Address and resolve complaints related to communal areas and facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address repair, maintenance, and security issues.
  • Facilitate and monitor repair processes, providing access and guidance to contractors.
  • Perform water testing and emergency equipment checks in communal areas in line with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with fire risk assessments and health and safety policies.
  • Provide gritting services as required and manage health and safety inspections, recording outcomes appropriately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in facilities management.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Good understanding of diversity, equality, data protection, and confidentiality issues.
  • Proficient in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook, and in-house systems).
  • Knowledgeable in housing/building management and health and safety management.
  • Flexibility to cover out of hours emergencies and travel to alternative sites as required.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes, depending on location.
