Executive Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Cover)

Location: Bristol (with some flexibility for home working)
Salary: £33,009 - £36,011 per annum
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until February 2027 (or upon the return of the substantive postholder)
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide professional, confidential, and high-quality support to a senior leadership team within a large and respected organisation.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting senior leaders, managing priorities, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth running of executive operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior leaders.
  • Manage complex diaries, meetings, and schedules.
  • Coordinate priorities and respond to changing business needs.
  • Prepare documentation, correspondence, and reports.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Support the delivery of strategic objectives through proactive administrative support.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative support role.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience managing complex diaries and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgement.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
  • Experience minute-taking and coordinating board or leadership meetings.
