Customer Care and Order Processing Coordinator

Location: King's Lynn
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Salary: Up to £30,000

Our client is a growing, customer-focused business looking to recruit a Customer Care and Order Processing Coordinator to join their supportive team in King's Lynn.

This is a varied position combining customer service, order processing, administration, and logistics coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience from initial enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
  • Deliver a professional and positive customer experience at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Provide effective after-sales support and resolve customer queries.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain customer and order information within company systems.
  • Track orders from receipt through to delivery.
  • Process returns and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with warehouse and operational teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Monitor deliveries and proactively update customers.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery or order discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in customer service, order processing, sales support, or administration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurate administration and data entry skills.
  • Experience handling customer issues and delivering effective resolutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Business Administration qualification or Customer Service NVQ.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, wholesale, distribution, or similar sectors.
  • 2+ years' experience within customer service, administration, finance support, or data-entry environments.
