Our client is seeing a Building Services Commissioning Manager responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of commissioning mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems on construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that all systems are installed, tested, and operated according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage commissioning schedules and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality installation of systems.
Review technical documentation and witness testing procedures to verify system functionality and performance.
Identify defects and resolve performance issues to ensure systems meet energy efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth handover and proper system functionality.
Ensure successful project completion within agreed timelines and budgets, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
CSA, Commissioning Specialist Association, qualification CM1-3 is preferred, or suitable experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in overseeing the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems.
Strong understanding of design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage schedules and subcontractors effectively.
Ability to identify and resolve system defects and performance issues.
Strong communication skills for effective liaison with project teams, consultants, and clients.
