We are seeking a dedicated Business Administrator to join a great client of ours. This role requires a highly organized and efficient professional who can manage multiple administrative tasks across various business areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage both hard copy and electronic filing across all business areas, ensuring all paperwork is recorded on the electronic filing index.
  • Handle email management, ensuring timely responses and maintaining a clean inbox.
  • Record completed and pending tasks in the shared workbook and update Desk Bible sheets with relevant changes.
  • Onboard new staff by creating files and ensuring all required documents and training are completed within set timeframes.
  • Monitor staff work permits, DBS checks, and right-to-work documentation, ensuring all are up-to-date.
  • Conduct staff training compliance checks and manage the wage rota.
  • Process staff holiday requests and manage stationery orders and audits.
  • Support marketing activities by recording and assessing the impact of marketing programs.
  • Perform reception duties, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and managing the visitors’ book.
  • Provide administrative support during colleague absences and assist with clinical and financial administration tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous administration experience in a busy office environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to filing and record keeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Capable of managing a varied workload and prioritising competing demands.
  • Professional and approachable manner with all stakeholders.
