Service Desk Administrator opportunity to work for a thriving company - Woolwich - £30k p/a
To support the day-to-day running of the service desk by coordinating jobs, communicating with customers and engineers, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Schedule and manage service jobs, reactive callouts, and quoted works
Allocate work to engineers and ensure they have the correct job details and parts
Order parts and track deliveries to avoid delays
Ensure jobs are completed on time and updated correctly in the system
Raise invoices within 48 hours of job completion
Keep systems (e.g. ServiceM8, OrcaScan) up to date with accurate job and customer information
Act as a point of contact for customer enquiries
Respond to customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Maintain clear and accurate records of all communication
Support engineers to ensure they are fully booked and working efficiently
Monitor job progress and flag any delays or issues to management
Help ensure work meets company standards and client requirements
Assist with general admin tasks including quotes, emails, and reporting
Follow company processes for health & safety, quality, and compliance
Support the wider team with any additional administrative duties as required
General Expectations
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Maintain good attention to detail and organisation skills
Confident telephone manner is essential
Be comfortable using IT systems such as email, Excel, and job management software
