Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and dependable Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to a senior executive. This Brighton-based role involves a mix of business and personal administration, requiring discretion, flexibility, and excellent organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Diary & Schedule Management
Manage complex calendars, appointments, and scheduling conflicts
Coordinate meetings, bookings, and personal engagements
Ensure effective time management and prioritisation of commitments
Administrative Support
Handle correspondence, emails, and telephone calls
Draft letters, documents, and communications on behalf of the executive
Organise and maintain filing systems (digital and paper-based)
Personal Support
Assist with personal errands and day-to-day requests
Arrange personal appointments (e.g. medical, travel, dining reservations)
Support with household or lifestyle management where required
Travel & Event Coordination
Plan and book travel arrangements, including transport and accommodation
Create detailed travel itineraries
Assist in organising events, meetings, or private functions
Financial & Household Administration
Support with basic financial tasks such as expenses, invoices, and budgeting
Liaise with service providers, contractors, and suppliers
Monitor and manage bills, subscriptions, or household expenses if required
Confidentiality & Liaison
Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Act as a gatekeeper and key point of contact for the executive
Build relationships with internal staff, external partners, and personal contacts
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar administrative role
Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High level of discretion and trustworthiness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Ability to multitask and work independently
Desirable
Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals or senior executives
Flexibility with working hours where required
Driving licence (if travel or errands are required)
