The Opportunity
Reed Practice have been enlisted to find a Senior Accountant to join an excellent client – a growing, independent practice - where you’ll manage your own portfolio, build strong client relationships, and get involved in tax planning, advisory, and business strategy—not just compliance.

You’ll be a mentor to more junior team members and can have your voice and opinions heard, such as improving an existing process, from day one.

As Senior Accountant, you will:

• Managing a varied client portfolio (accounts + tax)
• Providing tax planning & business advisory support
• Acting as a key client contact (including HMRC liaison)
• Supporting juniors & contributing to team development
• Working on forecasts, cashflows & management accounts
• Be the primary point of contact for clients including in person meetings; key liaison with HMRC

The firm seeks a Senior Accountant who is:

• Part-qualified AAT/ACCA – at least. We are open to those who are “qualified by experience” with all the relevant technical experience.
• Experience as an Accountant in a practice firm working to UK regulations.
• Strong knowledge of FRS102A and FRS105, Corporation Tax, VAT & Income Tax
• Confident handling technical queries end-to-end
