We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Reception Team Manager to lead a busy front-of-house function. This key role is responsible for ensuring a high standard of service delivery and smooth day-to-day operations within the reception team.
Day-to-day of the role:
Oversee the daily management of the reception team, ensuring a consistently high level of service.
Coordinate staff rotas, holidays, and absences to maintain appropriate coverage.
Provide hands-on support to the team, including covering shifts where required.
Support service delivery across a range of operating hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members, as well as ongoing development.
Act as an escalation point for more complex queries or customer concerns.
Ensure front-of-house areas are well presented and maintained.
Support performance management processes, including informal reviews and appraisals.
Promote a positive team culture and uphold organisational standards and values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a reception or front-of-house role with team leadership responsibility.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience working in fast-paced, service-led environments.
Good administrative and IT skills.
Ability to organise, prioritise, and support a team effectively.
A proactive, approachable, and solution-focused mindset.
Desirable:
Experience within a healthcare or similar environment.
Familiarity with cash handling or transactional processes.
