Day-to-day of the role:
Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing from start to finish.
Provide legal advice on property sales, purchases, and the broader aspects of property management.
Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, leases, deeds, and other conveyancing documents.
Conduct property searches, check land registry documents and liaise with local councils for planning permissions.
Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of legal proceedings.
Coordinate with other solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders to ensure smooth transactions.
Stay updated with changes in property law and how they affect property transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified solicitor with a strong background in property law, particularly residential conveyancing.
Proven experience in managing a caseload of property transactions.
Excellent knowledge of the legal aspects of property management.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
