Legal Secretary/Personal Assistant

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

The Role
You will provide first-class professional support to a Partner and other fee earners. This role demands excellent organisational skills and a passion for accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for the partners.
- Providing high-quality administrative and support services.
- Managing extensive telephone coverage confidently.
- Effectively managing electronic diaries and coordinating with internal and external clients.
- Organising a wide range of meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- Preparing documents and materials for meetings.
- Liaising with clients and managing routine administration tasks.
- Handling digital dictation, typing correspondence, raising bills, and invoicing.
- Organising and maintaining effective filing systems, processing expenses.
- Assisting with litigation and preparing hearing bundles.
- Preparing PowerPoint slides and marketing materials for events.
- General office duties including photocopying, arranging couriers, and ordering stationery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English with good grades (or equivalent qualifications).
- Legal Secretarial qualification (desirable but not essential).
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary/PA, or similar.
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional interpersonal and team working skills, with a confident telephone manner.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Positive attitude with a 'can do' approach, ready to assist wherever needed.

This position is office-based, and part-time applicants will be considered. The salary is dependent on experience and will be pro-rated for part-time workers.
