The Role
As an Internal Sales Administrator, you will be at the heart of the customer journey, ensuring enquiries are handled efficiently and converted into orders. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
Preparing and issuing quotations quickly and accurately
Processing orders using internal systems (including CRM/Sage)
Supporting the external sales team with administrative tasks
Liaising with the warehouse to ensure timely delivery of orders
Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
Delivering excellent customer service at every touchpoint
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be organised, proactive, and customer-focused. You’ll also have:
Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or internal sales role
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence using IT systems including Excel and CRM platforms
Basic numeracy skills
A team-focused mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
(Industry experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided.)
