Reed have partnered with a national insurance company to recruit ambitious sales professionals for their Eastleigh office.

Role: Insurance Sales Representative
Location: Eastleigh
Salary: £35,000 per annum basic + uncapped commission (OTE £50,000–£100,000+)
Working Pattern:
37.5 hours/week on a 6-week rotating shift pattern
Shifts vary between early (e.g. 8am–4:30pm), mid (e.g. 9:30am–6pm), and late (e.g. 11:30am–8pm)
One Saturday morning (9am–1pm) every 6 weeks, with a half-day Friday (8am–12pm) beforehand
Duties:
Outbound phone-based sales using warm leads from online enquiries (no cold calling)
Conduct detailed fact-finding calls to understand client needs and medical history
Use a cutting-edge quoting system to compare insurance products in real time
Recommend tailored Private Medical Insurance solutions based on client budgets
Handle objections professionally and close sales confidently
Maintain high standards of compliance, quality assurance, and customer care
Work towards KPIs including referrals, cancellations, and conversion rates
About you:
Telephone-based outbound sales experience is essential
Open to all sectors – experience in insurance, finance, or professional services is beneficial but not required
Strong communication skills, resilience, and a target-driven mindset
Full training provided, including FCA compliance, product knowledge, and call coaching
