About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner to join our client's growing team, based in Birmingham with work carried out across the UK. This is a customer-facing role requiring regular travel to client sites, delivering high-quality cleaning and air hygiene services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and reliable individual looking for a temp-to-perm position with long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out industrial cleaning and air hygiene services, including fire damper maintenance
  • Travel to various client sites across the UK
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards (including BS9999)
  • Interact professionally with clients on-site, providing updates and maintaining excellent customer service
  • Accurately complete job reports and documentation
  • Maintain tools and equipment to a high standard

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel and stay away when required
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • TR19 (Grease Hygiene Operative – GHO) certification
  • TR19 qualifications in ventilation hygiene
  • Experience working with fire dampers (BS9999 compliant work)
  • Previous experience as an industrial cleaner, air hygiene technician, or similar
