We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic team, providing a range of health and well-being services including Equipment Service, Sensory Service, and Wheelchair Service. This role is based within the Customer Service Team and offers a varied and impactful work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the first point of contact for individuals using company services, their carers, and other agencies.
- Manage effective liaison with customers, families, carers, and health and social care professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the Community Equipment Service.
- Oversee the customer service offerings for all Company Services.
- Manage systems related to customer records, equipment and wheelchair orders, appointments, and service requests including assessments, deliveries, collections, servicing, and repairs.
- Produce simple performance reports by analysing activity information and handling data input as required.
- Support Company clinicians and associates to ensure optimal service delivery through efficient system support.
- Ensure the safekeeping, accuracy, and confidentiality of customer records.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders and Senior Managers on projects and service improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a representative of the equipment service within the Integrated Discharge Hub.
- Act as a contact point for the procurement of equipment, placing orders, and liaising with equipment providers.
- Deputise for the line manager as appropriate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a health or social care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with compassion and discretion.
- Proficiency in using IT systems relevant to customer service and data management.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis, to meet service requirements.
- No direct line management or budgetary responsibilities, but must be able to work effectively within a team and under supervision.
