Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding debts are collected efficiently and professionally.

The Role

As Credit Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and managing customer accounts. Working closely with customers, Account Managers, and internal departments, you will help resolve payment issues and ensure accounts are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Chasing outstanding payments via telephone and email.
• Managing customer accounts and resolving payment queries.
• Investigating and resolving invoice disputes in collaboration with Account Managers and internal teams.
• Negotiating and setting up payment plans where required.
• Escalating overdue accounts in line with company procedures.
• Supporting month-end finance activities.
• Completing daily banking reconciliations.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience within a Credit Control position.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
