We are seeking a Safeguarding (Transition) Administrator to manage the transfer of safeguarding information for students entering Years 7 and 12. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their critical transition phases supporting the Safeguarding Lead
Day-to-day of the role:
Liaise with Designated Safeguarding Leads at feeder schools to secure necessary safeguarding files.
Manage and process both paper and electronic files, ensuring their integration into the school's safeguarding system (CPOMS).
Identify and flag potentially vulnerable students to the pastoral teams.
Maintain a central log tracking the status of all safeguarding file receipts and necessary escalations.
Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High literacy and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in IT, preferably with Google Sheets experience.
Knowledge of legal data handling requirements.
Previous safeguarding experience or knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) preferred.
