Job Title: Typist / Administrator (Temporary) Location: Halifax, HX1 Rate: £13 per hour plus Reed Benefits
We are seeking a highly organised Typist/Administrator to join a friendly, growing business based in a modern facility near Halifax town centre. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and working with Google-based systems.
About the Role:
This is a temporary assignment (approx. 1–3 months) supporting a small but dynamic team. You will work closely with the General Manager, taking ownership of a variety of administrative and documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating, updating, and copy-typing work instructions
Transferring data from Google Docs to Google Sheets
Reviewing and updating test instructions and procedures
Supporting updates to HR policies and documentation
Reorganising electronic filing systems
Designing and creating forms and templates
Working Hours:
Monday–Wednesday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
(Some flexibility/negotiation available)
What We’re Looking For:
Strong typing and administrative skills
Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets essential)
A logical thinker with the ability to work independently
Proven experience delivering similar documentation/administration work
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
