We are currently recruiting for a lovely, family-feel company based in Walsall. This role is based in a small and supportive team that are long standing, the company are passionate about the people and looking after their staff! This role is stand-alone, in that the successful candidate holds full responsibility of the company accounts and reports directly to the owner of the company. It’s an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact from day one and really create a home in a company for the long term!
Responsibilities Will Include:
Assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
Full responsibility of the bank accounts, ensuring they are reconciled and accurate.
Manage all company payments in and out, keeping track of direct debit payments and payments from customers.
Work closely with an outsourced Accountant to complete audits, quarterly accounts and year end accounts.
Ideally, You Will:
Have previous experience working in a varied Accounts role, although there is a hand over period this does require a candidate that can hit the ground running!
Have exposure to or experience using Sage 50, as this is the system used by the company.
As you will be solely responsible for managing the Accounts day-to-day, a keen eye for detail is essential!
