The Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements module helps develop your understanding of producing financial statements for sole traders and partnerships, using both manual and software methods, and covers double-entry bookkeeping and necessary adjustments.

Final accounts preparation: understand accounting principles, primary users, the accounting framework, and qualities of useful financial information.
Double-entry bookkeeping: review the accounting equation, ledger account classification, books of prime entry, and financial period-end routines.
Non-current assets: understand capital expenditure authority, classify expenditure, and record acquisitions and disposals.
Financial statements: prepare financial statements for sole traders and partnerships, including SPL and SFP.
