  • Suitable for a minimum of six learners


This course is aimed at members of staff who work with people who are neurodivergent, or individuals who want to gain an understanding of neurodiversity.


Help your employees understand Neurodiversity


By the end of this course, your employees will have gained an understanding of what neurodiversity is, the causes and conditions of neurodiversity, the autistic spectrum disorder, and the mental health issues that may affect neurodiverse people.


They’ll also be taught ways in which to create a safe and inclusive workplace, how they can support colleagues who are neurodiverse, and the importance and purpose of Neurodiversity Awareness Week.


This three-hour course will cover the following topics:

  • Neurodiversity Awareness Week

  • Statistics and Neurodiversity employment

  • Neurodiversity and associated mental health conditions

  • Autistic Spectrum disorder

  • Neurodiversity and support

  • Mental health and wellbeing

  • Neurodiversity in the workplace

  • Strategies for support for employees and employers

  • Inclusive workspaces employment scenarios

  • Equality and Discrimination Law

To undertake this course, learners must be able to participate fully in the classroom.
