Reed Further Education are working in partnership with a fantastic education provider in Northampton to recruit a Work Placement & Experience Officer specialising in Construction.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with industry knowledge and strong employer engagement skills to support students in securing meaningful work placements and developing their employability skills.

📍 Northampton
💰 £25,110 - £27,400 per annum
⏰ Full-time - 37 hours per week

🔹 The Role
You will play a key role in sourcing and coordinating industry placements for construction students, ensuring a high-quality experience that meets course requirements and industry standards. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing and securing work placements within the construction sector 
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employers and stakeholders 
  • Ensuring placements meet compliance and health & safety standards 
  • Supporting students with pre-placement preparation and expectations 
  • Monitoring placement progress and maintaining accurate records 
  • Coordinating employer engagement activities, such as careers talks and workshops

  • Experience within the construction sector 
  • Experience engaging with employers or external stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of health & safety practices (HSAW standards desirable) 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
