We are currently recruiting multiple SEN Teaching Assistants to join a large 3-form entry primary school in central Scunthorpe. These roles will support children entering EYFS and Key Stage 1 in September, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference, working within a supportive and well-resourced school environment that offers both mainstream classroom support and access to an internal specialist provision.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
Support children with a range of needs including:
Autism (ASC)
ADHD
Non-verbal communication needs
PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
Behavioural challenges
EAL (English as an Additional Language)
Assist with personal care where required
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Support students both in class and within the school’s internal provision

We are looking for candidates who:
Have proven experience supporting children with additional needs
Are confident working with challenging behaviour and complex needs
Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in approach
Have a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
Can adapt to different classroom environments and individual needs
Are comfortable with personal care requirements
