We are excited to offer several positions for flexible and adaptable Teaching and Learning Support Assistants, starting in September 2026. These roles are crucial in supporting and enhancing the educational experience of pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Day-to-day of the role:
Assist in the delivery of classroom activities and learning experiences under the guidance of the Head Teacher and school leaders.
Support pupils with different educational needs and abilities, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
Work collaboratively with teachers to prepare materials and set up environments for effective learning.
Monitor and support the progress of pupils, providing feedback to teachers and participating in discussions about their development.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
Uphold the Christian ethos and values of the school, actively promoting its mission statement within the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a support role within an educational setting, preferably with exposure to SEND.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently using your own initiative.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with children, staff, and the wider school community.
Commitment to professional development and willingness to engage in further training.
