Manager / Senior Manager – Path to Director
Gavin Kendall from Reed Practice is currently supporting a Top 80 Multi Site firm in the search for a Manager/Senior Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing client relationships, leading a team, and supporting the strategic growth of the firm, with a clear pathway to Directorship.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, ensuring strong performance and progression.
• Identify and contribute to business development opportunities to support firm growth.
• Collaborate with Directors and Partners on strategic direction and long-term planning.
• Oversee compliance and maintain exceptional client service standards.

• Proactive, organised, and forward-thinking
• Strong communicator with confident leadership presence
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and career-driven
Qualifications & Experience
• ACA or ACCA qualified with ~3+ years post-qualified experience in practice
• Experience at Manager / Senior Manager / Director level
• Strong audit background (desirable but not essential)
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and develop business
• Experience supporting and developing team members
• Strong IT skills (Office 365, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS)
