We are working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation to recruit a Finance Manager to join their regional finance team. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making while managing a high-performing finance function.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end finance operation for a regional business unit. You will lead a small team, ensure robust financial controls, and deliver accurate, timely reporting to support business performance.

This role combines technical expertise with commercial business partnering, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the finance team, driving performance and continuous improvement
  • Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Produce consolidated management accounts with insightful commentary
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets and long-term financial projections
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and treasury activity
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity and oversee reconciliations
  • Review VAT, CIS and statutory reporting requirements
  • Partner with operational teams to challenge and improve financial performance
  • Support senior leadership and deputise for the Finance Director when required
  • Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Proven experience in financial and management accounting
  • Strong team management experience with a focus on development
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent Excel and systems skills
  • Commercially aware, with a proactive and analytical mindset
