I'm representing a well-established, highly respected automotive retail business that is looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team. The Opportunity

As Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for the performance, profitability, and day-to-day management of the sales department. You'll lead by example, coach and develop your team, and drive results across both new and used vehicle sales while ensuring exceptional standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Executives and Sales Administrators
• Deliver department sales targets, profitability objectives and KPI performance
• Manage vehicle stock, pricing strategies and ageing profiles
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles
• Oversee the customer journey to maximise satisfaction and conversion rates
• Monitor sales processes, reporting and administrative controls
• Drive marketing initiatives, promotions and local business development activities
• Maintain exceptional showroom and vehicle presentation standards
• Support recruitment, coaching, training and performance management across the sales team

What We're Looking For

✅ Previous experience in an Automotive Sales Management or Sales Leadership role

✅ A strong track record of delivering sales performance and profitability

✅ Exceptional leadership, coaching and people management skills

✅ Experience managing teams within a target-driven environment

✅ Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding

✅ Full UK Driving Licence

✅ Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
