Sales Executive

• Annual Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 OTE
• Location: Plymouth
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Join a leading automotive retailer in the South and South-West of England. We are seeking an energetic and focused Sales Executive to join our team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service background and a desire to excel in sales. Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Identify and develop prospects, working with individual customers to understand their needs and guide them towards the most appropriate product.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and benefits, adapting to the customer's buying strategy and encouraging test drives.
• Negotiate price, payment methods, and finance arrangements within company guidelines.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Liaise with Sales Administration to ensure product availability aligns with customer expectations, place orders, update customer records, and schedule any additional services required before delivery.
• Maintain customer relationships through follow-up calls and future business opportunities.
• Plan and organise daily selling activities, such as making sales calls to obtain new business.

This role requires working hours from Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00, Saturday 08:30 - 17:00, and Sunday 10:00 - 16:00 on a rotational basis.
